Puno – Uros Floating Islands – Amantani (overnight stay)
Between 07:45 – 08:00 am we will pick you up from your respective accommodation to transfer you to the dock in Puno. Here you will board a boat that will transport you to the floating islands of the Uros. During the trip you will be able to appreciate the natural beauty of the Sacred Lake of the Incas. The inhabitants of the islands are characterized by preserving the living culture and traditions inherited from generation to generation. You will learn more about their clothing, worldview, rites and beliefs. Then we will return to our boat and transfer you to the island of Amantani, where you will be welcomed by a rural family that will provide the room in which you will spend the night, you will have 1 hour free to make a brief tour of the island and take pictures, then enjoy a local lunch. Approximately at 14:30 hrs, the tour group will meet for a tour of the ceremonial temples of PACHA TATA and COTA MAMA. The tour ends at approximately 18:00 hrs. Amantani – Taquile – Puno
Breakfast will be ready at 07:00 am, after enjoying it we will go to the dock to board our boat that will take you to Taquile Island, and at the dock, we will start with a walk of about 25 minutes to a local restaurant, where our guide will give an explanation about the island, traditions and customs Taquileñas.
Then you will enjoy a delicious lunch. You will have some free time to visit the surroundings of the island and the main square. Finally, we will return to the boat to return to the city of Puno.
