DAY 1 LIMA/CUSCO
Upon arrival to Cusco, reception, assistance and transfer to your hotel. It is advisable to take a short rest to let your body adapt to the altitude. Afternoon city tour, including visits to Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the Cathedral. Next, visits to a series of other archeological inka sites close to Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, overlooking the city, Kenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay.

DAY 02 CUSCO/MACHUPICCHU
Early departure by train for a full day tour of Machupicchu, the "Lost City of the Inkas", one of the most renowned examples of Inka architecture. Surrounded by lush cloud forest, the citadel perches on a mist-shrouded mountain top. Afternoon return to Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 03 CUSCO/LIMA
Transfer to the airport for departure flight to Lima.
